Search
You can search for a place/town/city in Arizona. If there is no motel found at that location the program will provide you with the information about the nearest place where motel information is available in the database. A mouseclick on the buttons "Map" or "Browse" will take you to that suggested location.

Map
A State Map of Arizona will be shown where the selected location is marked with a blue rectangle. The State Map contains the major State Routes and all Interstates crossing Arizona, U.S.A. If the "Map Grid" is visible, you can click on a region and zoom into a detailed regional map. We know, you like to play with the maps - so we implemented a feature to hide or show the Interstates, State Routes and/or places with a single mouseclick. Have fun.

Browse
For the current location (and for all other locations, of course) you can browse the database with all details of the motels we explored for you. A special graphical road map and a driving direction description provide you with all the information you need to find your next accommodation.

Update
Once you have purchased the commercial version of the software you have the possibility to update the motel database every time an update file is available. Free of charge! Check out our website, download the latest update file and be always "up-to-date".

Every year millions of tourists visit the beautiful State of Arizona. Many of them travel individually by car. Sometimes they may only have a rough plan which region to go or what sights to explore next. But - where to stay the night? This is often a question of pure chance to find a suitable accommodation nearby. Sure, you can find scores of motels in Arizona. But where is the next one in the area you're in right now? Great, if you don't have to look for a location - because you always know a fine one in advance - no matter where you are in the whole country. This is what our "Arizona Motel Finder" software offers. Having your notebook computer aboard, you can search or browse the motel database. Detailed road maps advise the best driving direction to go there. Just try it out.
Our intention
Why did we develop this software? In October 2006, just married in Tucson, Arizona, we started a road trip throughout the country. So far, so good. At the first night we arrived in Phoenix and spent a lot of time to find a suitable accommodation. Next day, leaving Phoenix on the Interstate 17 north, we passed motel by motel - all located in that single area - and we hadn't the faintest idea of it.
This was the hour of birth for this software, at least a first thought. Later on, this thought begun to take shape. Collecting information about motel locations - just for personal needs - could be a fine way to be better prepared for our next Arizona road trips.
The work behind
Be sure, the work behind the scenes wasn't just easy. It's not even useful to have some motel addresses ready but to locate them at street level niveau and describe it as a sufficient driving direction to go there. And this is just what it's all about: have the necessary information ready - wherever you need it - whenever you need it!

You're able to benefit from our data collection now. The database got a graphical user interface meanwhile. We also included detailed street maps and other functions to create a useful product for the public (at least we hope so).
